Lets say that two golfer's tee off the same hole at the same time. Both golfers are playing the same ball with the same number and with no identification marks on their golf balls. Both golfer's strike their golf balls down the middle of the fairway. When they arrive to their golf balls they do not know whose golf ball is whose.

What is the ruling?

In this case both golfer's, since they can not identify their golf balls would have to declare their golf balls lost. Both golfer's would have to take a one stroke penalty and re-hit from the tee. Remember, it is very important to identify your golf ball before you tee off the first hole!
