Grip:.

The most common problem that the majority of golfers have when holding onto the club is where they place the grip in their top hand.

Most golfers tend to place the grip of the club up in the palm of their top hand.  This creates a couple of problems.  The problem with this type of placement is that the golfer tends to have to hold onto the club very tightly (causing tension) and the wrists are not able to hinge naturally during the swing.

If you are one of these golfers, try placing the grip down in the fingers before setting your thumb on top of grip.  This sequence will allow you to feel the fingers holding onto the golf club.  Holding the club in your fingers will eliminate the excess tension and provide the ability for the wrists to hinge naturally during the swinging motion.
